Sealed Stationary Furnaces with combustion crucible
A sealed furnace is different from a traditional one because of its cover: if this is closed, flames find no outlet and thus heat loss is prevented. Such innovation has two major advantages: 1) the reduced need for a burner during maintenance phase allows us to reduce consumes and therefore production costs; 2) thanks to the cover configuration, flames do not reach metals and this allows us to produce pure alloys without risking oxidation. We suggest sealed furnaces for shell casting and/or for those wishing to produce pure alloys. The quality of metals produced using such furnaces is comparable to that obtained employing electric furnaces: yet, consumes are reduced by 50%.
